The three panels were commissioned by Parks Canada for their Saturna
Field
Office at the new recreation centre complex on Saturna. Each Panel
is 28" by 60" and represents a different ecosystem within
the park areas on Saturna Island, BC, Canada (part of the Gulf Islands
National Park Reserve).

Represents the bluffs on Mt. Warburton Pike which depicts
grasslands and the Garry Oak ecosystem.

Depicts the stream and Cedar forest areas of Lyall Creek
and Waterfall Park.

| Panel 3 |
Represents the inter-tidal zone/arbutus forest at Winter
Cove. |
Hand painted silk and Pima cotton and commercial fabrics were used.
Machine embroidery highlights the collage and quilting techniques
used.
